Create and Manage Realms

Managing distinct user populations (such as business units or partners) within a single Okta organization traditionally requires separate Okta organizations, leading to operational overhead. This guide outlines how to utilize Realms to partition users within the Universal Directory, enabling them to share applications and resources. Using Realms, administrators can rapidly onboard users from acquired organizations and delegate granular user management to local admins without granting them Super Admin access.

This resource is designed for Super Admins or Org Admins who are responsible for enabling Realms, structuring their organization's user base, and managing delegated user access in compliance with Okta Identity Governance (OIG) capabilities.
