About this course

AI agents are already running in your environment. Some have no registered owner, no credentials on file, and no straightforward way to shut down. This course addresses that gap. You'll manually register a custom-built AI agent as a workload principal in Okta's Universal Directory, assign named owners to establish accountability for access requests and certification reviews, and generate a public key credential using OAuth 2.0 private key JWT authentication. You'll then use the agent's unique wlp identifier to locate its activity in the Okta System Log, giving you traceability from the moment the agent goes live.

By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Create a managed AI agent identity in the Okta Admin Console using the manual registration path.
  • Assign individual and group owners to a managed agent to establish human accountability.
  • Generate and activate a public key credential for a managed agent identity.
  • Identify the agent's unique wlp identifier in the Admin Console and locate its activity in the Okta System Log.
